Teresa
has developed her design philosophy through working on her Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of
Minnesota. This program emphasizes that design is a balance between art and
science. She considers both of these foundations to be important in her work. Teresa has explored and developed her
artistic talents with an appreciation of nature and its beauty. Works in
clay, painting and architecture have helped her focus on the elements
of light and shadow, as they reveal 3 dimensions in our world. Developing expressions of depth and substance using sculptural and painting media has been her life's work.
Notes and Announcements:
Wonderful day at the Pine City arts festival. The PCAC is a really organized group, and it was great to meet so many new people. I will be at the Forest Hills Community Arts Festival at the Forest Lake Lakeside park on July 30th, 2011. Look for me there, I would love to see you!
I have also been accepted in the Glensheen Festival of Fine Art and Crafts on August 13th and 14th, 2011. It is at the Glensheen mansion in Duluth, a beautiful setting on Lake Superior. Hopefully we will have cool temperatures and sunny blue skies.
